We experienced a year-end cycle closing ceremony with Mon, based on love and gratitude. 2023 was a year of a lot of internal disruption for us, and we truly needed a moment like the one Montse created to reflect and reconnect with our essence. We discovered new sensations as we prepared the cacao with intention, shaped our small altar, and meditated together on the power of this seed. Through the rituals, we reflected on the path we traveled in 2023, transforming our experience with fire, sound, and gratitude. That night, we rested better than we had in a long time. Ceremonies with Mon are always special and open your mind to ideas and sensations that feel deeply human. As always, we wholeheartedly recommend taking the time to create these moments.

The cycle closing ceremony was such a beautiful space, where my friends felt comfortable and safe to open up and share personal things, along with the kind words for my move to a new city. Mon, I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful cycle closing ceremony. It was my first experience with cacao, and it was so wonderful—the way we set the intention, the accompaniment of the bowls, and all the energy that was felt. It was incredible. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to take part in a liberating and beautiful experience guided by Montse.

The ceremony was a cycle closing to send someone off on a new adventure with the best energy. I am grateful for each meditation and ritual we were able to do with Montse’s wonderful guidance and presence. The experience is deeply emotional and profound, as getting in touch with what you want to let go of and sharing it takes a lot of courage. But it’s so beautiful to do it with others, in a safe circle, and with a shared flow of energy.
